 Beautiful design, wish water pressure were higher Feb 13, 2012

This is a beautifully designed product. We love the way it looks. As others have mentioned, the water pressure isn't high enough, it's just OK. We installed it in one of two newly renovated bathroom. After checking it out we decided to go with something else in the second bathroom, because of the not-high-enough pressure. Contrary to what some reviewers did, we were told not to remove the water restrictor. I also do not agree with the one who complained about the "huge Hot and Cold" lettering which is, in fact, very delicately designed.

Installed this shower faucet and head and love the look of it. The only problem I have is that it restricts too much water, we removed the water restrictor and like it much better (a little too much water but better).

I am a professional interior designer and have had this set for about two years. Love the clean lines and simplicity of the design. I would have to disagree with the reviewer who said the "hot", "cold" are "flowery". To my eye they are quite subtle and not at all large. They are on one side and are outlined in elongated teardrop shapes... a bit like a slender paisley shape. Handsome, sturdy and solidly functional set!

I purchased this shower set and have been using it for about 2 months. I am very pleased. The finish and the construction are both great. The adjustable shower head works with a wonderfully smooth precision. Even with the water restriction screen in place, the shower head flows plenty of water for a satisfying shower experience. Onc reviewer lamented what she referred to a the "HUGE" and "flowery" etched words Hot and Cold. I guess size is in the eye of the beholder. While not small, they are not "HUGE" to my eye, and they are not a very high contrast to the finish of the trim. I can't imagine that you can have a trim kit without labeling hot and cold, and I think it is pretty subtle given that fact that it probably has to (and should be) there.

I chose all Danze hardware for our bathroom remodel...so this was my choice for our shower stall to match...
I had not opened the box until it was time to install (which was about 40 days after purchase and too late to return)..
and much to my surprise and dismay..the back plate of the lever has HUGE "hot" & "cold" etched into it..
no photo I ever saw online showed this...it is very "flowery" and totally ruins the sleek/high-tech modern look..it's a shame because it is well made.hefty and gorgeous otherwise..
