Good Looking Faucet. Decent Customer Service (Danze) Oct 29, 2007
By Carrie,
"Formerly "Sister Carrie""
After hours of internet research & multiple store visits looking at pre-rinse faucets, I finally decided to purchase this Danze faucet because (1) the few reviews I found were positive, (2) Amazon's price/incentive offer were the best I found & (3) Amazon's free shipping offer. I chose stainless steel only because chrome wouldn't have looked as nice with my countertops. Installation was easy & we've used the faucet for just over 1 month. The coil portion failed last week & we called Danze's customer service department. They were friendly and shipped the part without question; however, I did have to call back to specifically request overnight shipping (otherwise it would have been 3 days). The replacement part was easy to install & the faucet has worked perfectly since (4 days). Even with the faucet breaking within the month, I still love the faucet - it is absolutely a very good looking faucet with a nice weight & feel - and I happily use it every day. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the break. For looks & feel, 5 stars.
As of 11/27/07: Faucet has worked beautifully since the part replacement. It must have been a fluke. We love the faucet & would buy it again.

great faucet May 12, 2007
By Robert Duncan The faucet arrived in perfect condition and was I was able to install in less than an hour. It appears to be very well made (very solid and heavy), and performs as advertised. It looks to be as quality a product as others costing three times as much. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

Good, but think before buying Feb 07, 2009
By M. Westman I will start off by saying that I love this faucet. But, it might not be for you.
First, if you have a kitchen sink that is made out of thin metal this might not be for you. The stress of using the faucet will flex the metal of the sink a little no matter how you tighten the mounting bolts.
Second, if you are replacing an existing faucet keep in mind that this is a single hole faucet that only covers that single faucet. If you already have a normal faucet that uses two or more holes you are going to have ugly holes that need to be covered by slightly less ugly covers.
If neither of these are a problem then you will love this faucet.

Good - but why plastic?? Sep 16, 2009
By Lee McCoy
"thereal"
I installed this about 2 years ago. Everything looked great with it except the plastic "shower" head area. I don't know why they made this plastic. Anyways, this is now all scratched up and turning green where the clamp holds it.
Also, the option to turn the water to a "powerful spray" and it used to stay on, now it doesn't. It never did when the pressure was low, but now it doesn't want to at all.
It started out as a good product, but the plastic head really makes it worth less than it sells for. However, comparable items are a lot more.

Good quality as well as highly useful Jan 09, 2009
By C. G. King I really, really love this faucet. It is designed after commercial kitchen faucets where cleaning large pans is often an issue. I was frustrated with the difficulty of trying to scour a 3 qt. All-Clad sauté pan in my double sink with standard faucet and my large stock pot wouldn't fit at all. I decided to get a new sink and faucet. I got a single bowl sink and with this faucet, I can now manage everything easily. There are a lot of things I don't put in the dishwasher, either because they take up too much room or because I'm reusing them (my food processor bowl) or it's just easier to hand wash them so I can put the appliance away (the plates for my griddler). Having this faucet makes all those jobs quick and easy as well as the normal ones.
The faucet head detaches from the horizontal support so you can maneuver it around the sink by virtue of the flexible spring U that contains the hose. It's not so flexible that you can pull it down all the way, but enough to angle the head to spray the insides of the sink, get it over the lip of a very tall pot or spray the bottom of a large pot without turning it completely upside-down. There is a lever on the faucet head that, when squeezed, changes the flow to a strong spray--also very handy. The faucet head is easy to push back up into the horizontal support structure. Even when not in the support, the head hangs at nearly the same height naturally and is not in the way if you don't have a hand free to put it back in the support right away.
Being left-handed, I wish I'd had my plumber install the faucet with the single handle on the left, but I can live with it on the right. Back=hot, forward=cold, tilted out=on, straight up=off. Given this, water flow and water temp configurations are infinite.
I loved this faucet the first time I used it, and after a year, I love it even more. I was worried it might look a little industrial for my decor, but it's not only fine, guests frequently comment on its style. Great purchase.
