I thought this was one of the prettiest vessel faucets I'd seen. It looked very graceful and was a good fit for my decor. After having it installed it is even more lovely in the bathroom setting. My faucet and sink were installed by a plumber who knew what they were doing. Something I'd recommend. This is my first experience with a vessel style sink and faucet and I am very pleased.

I bought the Danze Opulence faucet and shower head setup for my remodeled bathroom a few years back. I bought it because I really wanted a single-handle faucet with a bronze finish for both the shower and sink and because the price was better than other maker's. I'd give anything now, though, if I'd been willing to pay more. First the cartridge in the shower went. I'd literally get blasted with cold water 3 times during a shower (I have a tankless hot water heater and the hot water would shut off, the pipe would drain and brrr--I'd have to completely turn off the water to get the hot water back).
Then, the finish on the sink faucet started to go. First the handle, then the aerator, then the sink plug. Danze has kindly sent me replacement parts for each (except the aerator, which has been on back order for over 6 months), but now I have three different colors due to variations in the finish. Not great. I wish I hadn't bothered.
And the shower... Well, the original store where I bought it was kind enough to give me a replacement cartridge even though they don't sell parts. Except, when I got home, I realized, I didn't have the o-rings that go with it. I had to go to two stores to try and find ones that would fit--none would. My neighbor kindly glued the closest match in place and the cartridge worked for 6 whole months. Now, I'm right back to getting blasted with cold water 2 to 3 times each shower. (Note that all other faucets in the house, including the basement shower, work fine).
I'm now stuck between replacing the cartridge every 6 months (not an easy project, as I deal with repeated leaking problems with each attempt) or ripping the tile out and starting over.
My recommendation, steer clear of this manufacturer.
