Excellent quality! Beautiful to look at. Dec 02, 2011
By brrman So after a couple months of it sitting in the box I finally got the bathroom finished and the Danze shower system installed. The finish is absolutely fantastic, and installing it myself was not all that difficult.
The instructions are very straight forward, except that you need to assume that the handle only turns one way (starts on cold and gets hotter as you turn it. Sounds simple right? Well I somehow got it into my head that you should turn left for hot and right for cold and set the limits (inside the valve) to that. I could not figure out why the water was not getting hot enough... I had effectively cut the handle travel in half so was only getting lukewarm water. A couple days later I had an epiphany and realized my mistake so I fixed the valve limits. Now nice hot water comes flowing out.
The shower head is a dream to stand under. Like rainfall. Even though there is a limiter in the shower head, the way the water falls straight down on top of you makes it feel like a lot of water!
