Great Kitchen Faucet! ! ! ! Feb 07, 2010
By Michael D. Moses We have gone through quite a few faucets in our quest to find one that would meet our needs and with this one, I believe we finally found it. My wife and I live in the country and run a farmer's market where we can many items and have been frustrated in the past with faucets that were too short, or not manuverable, or would not rotate from side to side, etc. We looked at several on Amazon and also at the local plumbing stores and chain stores, just not able to find the right one for our needs. Finally, this one from Danze came up on Amazon and I did some research on it. One of the areas I concentrate on are the reviews of those who have purchased items in the past and read of their experiences concerning what is being researched. I read all the reviews on this one, including the negative experiences and were aware of the one comment that it sprayed all over and served better as a shower than a kitchen faucet. We ordered this anyhow and I was impressed with this product from installation to the present.
We have owned and used this one for about three months and it has fulfilled our expectations in all respects. The installation was fast and easy. The directions were simple yet straightforward and easy to follow. It took me about 15 minutes to remove the old faucet and only about 8 minutes to install this new one. What I was first struck with as far as using it was concerned was the spring on the hose for faucet handle retraction instead of the weighted hose used commonly for other brands. This spring eliminates the weight and the hose from getting caught on obstructions under the sink and not retracting the handle. The spring is so much easier and does not get caught on anything underneath. That feature is great. Also, because of the construction of our sink, we are unable to have a plate so the faucet assembly has to sit right on the sink itself. This has posed a problem in the past because the faucet has gradually come loose from the sink and be continually retightened. The Danze faucet has a ring on the bottom that remains stationary and the rest of the faucet turns instead. That was another plus. Halfway up the faucet, there is a section that turns as well, so you could have the handle part remain stationary while turning the rest of the faucet. The actual faucet handle comes loose and has excellent range of motion for most applications. The handle quickly and easily retracts into the main housing when you are done with it. There are two main sprays, one a solid stream and the other a multi-spray. There is a third but you have to balance the easy-to-reach toggle switch on the top of the faucet to get it. That spray contains both a small solid stream and a multi-spray. The handle itself is very convenient and adjust. It requires a little getting used to, because other faucets have their handles on the top of the faucet and not in the front. However, after you initial training phase on learning this newer approach, it actually is more convenient.
The faucet is higher than other ones we looked at but this is what we wanted, due to our canning with large pots, etc. It actually is easier to use than the lower faucets because you can get colanders of vegetables and fruits underneath easier and wash these products. We also make homemade wines and this faucet is just right for getting the larger 3,5,6 and 7 gallon car-boys underneath for cleaning. I can see why the one review listed splashing as an issue because when you are using this faucet, because of its height, you are going to experience some splashing. However, we have deep sinks and the spray from the faucet goes right into the drain so this issue is minimal for us.
All in all, I have no complaints about this faucet and I would buy another one in a heartbeat. A great product ! ! ! !

Belly Flop Sep 07, 2009

We bought this faucet a year ago. That's a generous enough amount of time to discover this is indeed the faucet of your dreams ... ONLY IF you LOVE cleaning up water splashed ALL over the counters, behind sink, under drainer, behind your ears ... you get the picture. "Elegant" is want suckered us in! Looks lovely. As long as you don't hook it up to ANY existing water supply. And if you do - run for cover! Literally. It is simply too tall (~ 21" from faucet to bottom of normal sink) to work without back-splashing everywhere. Maybe the bathtub ... Truly wish we had NOT bought this costly "good-looker", and gone for one that works sans CONSTANT clean-up. Also, really MISS hose sprayer. The spray function on this one has little to no pressure. Crazy - sprays all over except where and when you need it!

Elegant faucet! Aug 21, 2008

We wanted to purchase a different overpriced faucet that looks similiar to this in the store, but instead we shopped online and found this one to be one of the best. Very sturdy. I love the no-need-to-grip interface, you can simply move the water temperature with a finger! I also like how tall it stands, because whenever I have a big pot in the sink, this doesn't get in my way.. not as critical since it can twist anyway. It also has three water shower settings: 1) Direct flow 2) Shower style 3) Both shower and direct in the center flow. Overall, I just love this faucet.

sleek, high faucet Jan 25, 2009
By B. Tabora I bought this kitchen faucet to replace our old faucet. It is really tall, much taller than I anticipated (should have noticed the measurements more). The angle of the pull out faucet is awkward. It does not direct the flow straight down when pulled out. Otherwise this faucet is well made, very European and sleek and relatively well priced.

Danze Anu a wonderful faucet by a company that backs its product Dec 22, 2009
By L. Dils I bought the Danze Anu kitchen faucet a bit over 2 years ago. I love the great contemporary style, the high profile which makes for easy washing (along with my deep sink) and the great pull out spray head. Recently had a mystery leak inside the cabinet under the sink and couldn't figure out where the problem was coming from. Once we discovered it was a pipe that runs up into the head of the faucet I phoned Danze technical support and they were so easy to deal with, professional and prompt in their response. I received a brand new faucet within one weeks time. Their lifetime warranty and responsive customer service is a breath of fresh air; great to find a manufacturer that stands behind their product fully! Would highly recommend this faucet and this company's products!
