Gorgeous but doesn't move enough air Sep 04, 2010
By divinebluesky I have this fan in a prominent location in my home and I love it for it's looks and style. It makes a design statement without overpowering the room. It is also almost completely silent. I can only just barely tell that it's running when it's on high, otherwise I can't hear it at all. The only con is that it doesn't move as much air as the cheap, ugly, noisy fan that used to occupy the space. The ceiling fan is my only cooling, and the old fan did an excellent job of pulling cooler air into the room; this fan doesn't perform quite as well. Another item to make note of is that the fan takes time and effort to install. I hired someone to do it, and he said that the instructions, engineering and construction were excellent, but there were quite a few pieces to put together and it took time.
